This was an interesting challenge, the client had an active WordPress site but was looking for ways to monetize it.
I redesign the site using a WordPress Theme (Sahifa) which has advertisement space built into the design which makes it easy for the client to change her advertisements. The site has the capability for multiple banner advertisements ‘above the folds’ and can accommodate smaller banners on the side bar of each page.
The other revenue generating opportunity was with the event calendar. I used an event calendar that provides the ability to feature events and thereby producing a revenue stream for the site.
